Pinterest Marketing: Why Isn’t My Jupiter in the 11th House Working?

I’ve been working on my Pinterest marketing, but honestly, I feel like I’m the world’s worst marketer. My efforts are inconsistent at best; sometimes I blast out several posts and then disappear for months. However, I’m setting a resolution for 2025 to really improve on Pinterest. I tried Instagram, but it’s just crickets there; Pinterest seems to pick up my content much quicker. Admittedly, I’ve been a bit messy and lazy with my approach. Self-promotion has never been my thing—I much prefer just posting content and letting it do its thing. This approach might have worked when I was just starting out, as long as the content was good. But now, it’s tough out there (my Sun-Saturn would agree). I often think my Jupiter in the 11th house should be a boon for this since it forms a trine with a lot of other planets. But perhaps I’ve been lazy because of those easy trines (the plot thickens).

My Jupiter in the 11th house should be a golden asset for anything involving networks, audiences, and expanding my reach. It’s full of optimism, suggesting that once I do step into a groove, the universe is poised to amplify my efforts. But those trines, while supportive, can sometimes lull me into complacency. They say, “It’ll work out!” while my Saturn looms in the background, muttering, “Not without effort, it won’t.” Jupiter here isn’t about shouting into the void; it’s about creating connections and sharing value. I guess when it feels less about “me, me, me” and more about serving others, self-promotion stops feeling icky and starts feeling more like knowledge sharing.

I’m trying to figure out which pins work best because my boards are a bit of a mess.

I created a post that I personally found funny, but it seems no one ever clicks on it. I’ll copy and paste the post below. Is it really that bad? Maybe it wasn’t funny?

The enigmatic Scorpio is like the ocean, hiding layers beneath layers, but this doesn’t mean they’re indifferent to a bit of surface-level sparkle! Quite the contrary. A Scorpio beauty routine requires a perfect blend of effortless mystery, intensity, and just a hint of danger, as if to say, “Yes, I’m aware I look fabulous. But no, you’ll never fully understand it.” Here’s a little ritual just for you, Scorpio.

Cleansing Ritual of the Soul and Skin

Look, you’re a water sign. That means deep, primal renewal is in your bones. Find yourself a dark, hypnotic face wash — something with activated charcoal or black clay, it has to sort of look like it was forged in a volcanic eruption. The goal here is to give your skin that “unveiling a mystery” glow, like uncovering debris from the sea floor. Visualize all those hidden thoughts and dark emotions just sliding off your face and down the drain. In other words: a clean canvas for all your deep intentions.

The Smoky-Eyed Seductress Look

Next, we’re diving straight into the territory of Scorpio’s signature: the smoky eye. Apply your eyeliner and shadow as if you’re going to a shadowy, candle-lit gathering that may or may not be attended by vampires. Blend it out to the heavens, but leave just a hint of smudginess. The idea is to look like you’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster all night, but you’re ready to roll right into brunch like nothing happened. Your piercing Scorpio gaze deserves a frame worthy of its intensity, so go heavy on the eyeliner and mascara — why settle for “bedroom eyes” when you can have “ancient-tome-keeper eyes”?

Skin as Smooth as Your Secretive Heart

The mystery of Scorpio is best matched by a flawless skin texture and yet oddly impenetrable. So, once your smoky eye is set, we’re on to the face. A matte finish foundation or setting powder will serve you best — go for a look that says “perfect porcelain mask.” But be careful not to cover up any natural quirks or “beauty marks”; you know these little mysteries must remain to keep people guessing. Aim for the enigmatic doll look — are you flawless, or are you hiding something? Only you know.

Scent of Intrigue

Scorpios embody their fragrance, like a rare flower only blooming once a decade. Find a scent with notes of dark oud, leather, or vetiver — something rich, intoxicating, and perhaps a bit baffling. The goal here is to exude a lingering, memorable smell that haunts rooms long after you’ve left. Ideally, people will wonder if they actually met you or if you simply appeared in a dream.

The “I Don’t Care About My Hair” Hair

Scorpios can’t be seen fussing with things as petty as hair, yet it must look unmistakably intentional. The solution? Slightly disheveled waves, as if you’ve just emerged from a secretive midnight rendezvous. Apply a salt spray, tousle, and let it do its thing. The trick here is to make it look a little wild, a little untamed, yet somehow perfectly fitting for a person who lives both above and beneath the surface. It should evoke the sensation that you might disappear into the shadows at any moment.

Final Touch: Lips That Speak Secrets

Finish it off with a dark and luscious lipstick, but in a mysterious color — a deep plum, a blood-red, maybe even black. The idea is to be unapologetically bold. You’re not trying to fit in with those pink-nude wearing souls. No, you’re a Scorpio; you’re here to make an impact, perhaps leave an impression that people aren’t entirely comfortable with. And there you have it, Scorpio: a beauty routine as deep as you, it maintains your ambience of being unseen and unforgettable. This ritual is your way of saying, “Yes, I care what’s on the surface, but you’ll never know just how much.” Go forth, and dazzle the world while keeping them guessing.

These are my new upcoming pins: I went mad on the every half an hour post. I might need to slow it down to every hour. The space pins do quite well at times.

See how this pin exploded!

Perhaps these pins with more text don’t look as good because the text is too long?

These have less text so may look better. It’s all hard work…

With Jupiter in the 11th house shouldn’t the universe just plop success into my lap while I sip tea and casually scroll through Pinterest?

Jupiter in the 11th is a wonderful placement. It’s all about expanding your reach, attracting like-minded communities, and benefiting from the generosity of others. Opportunities can  flow more easily here, but there’s a catch: Jupiter loves to work with you, not just for you. It’s the planet of abundance, but it’s also the planet of effort rewarded tenfold. If you don’t do anything, there’s nothing for Jupiter to bless. The lazy trines might be at play in my case. Trines are lovely, but they can sometimes make you feel like, “Eh, this’ll sort itself out eventually.” That’s the Jupiter trap—expecting all the rewards without stepping up to claim them. Jupiter in the 11th doesn’t mean you do nothing and still win—it means the more you put yourself out there, the more the universe amplifies your efforts. This placement gives  you the potential to connect with the right audience, attract opportunities, and build a network that elevates your work. But Jupiter is the cheerleader, not the player on the field. You’ve got to lace up your boots and play the game, and then Jupiter will make sure the crowd goes wild. You have a magnet for goodwill and growth online and in communities. Now’s the time to put that magnet to work. Show the universe you’re serious, and it will meet you halfway.

Let’s see if I can tap into some Jupiter luck. I’ve experienced it plenty of times before, but it seems to be on the fritz at the moment. Where’s the magic when you need it? Jupiter’s blessings can feel bountiful one moment and MIA the next.

Here’s some advice for those who aren’t feeling any boosts of luck from Jupiter right now.

Here’s the thing about Jupiter’s luck—it’s not really “broke,” but it does have its rhythms. When it’s high, everything flows effortlessly; when it’s low, it’s a reminder to recalibrate. Jupiter’s luck isn’t just about windfalls dropping from the sky; it thrives on movement, optimism, and expansion. When you feel stuck, it’s often a sign that Jupiter is waiting for you to take the first step, to throw some energy into the mix so it can meet you halfway. Tap into it by creating opportunities, no matter how small. Jupiter adores boldness, so take a risk, try something new, or reignite that big-picture vision you’ve been sitting on. Even a tiny act of faith can wake Jupiter from its slumber, like knocking on a door you’re pretty sure leads to treasure. Jupiter also loves gratitude. Take a moment to reflect on where you’ve already been lucky—you might find that Jupiter hasn’t ghosted you after all; it’s just been working in subtler ways.

Challenge accepted. Let’s see if I fall flat or soar high on Pinterest. I’ll update you this time next year.
