Mercury Trines Pluto: Daily Transit – The Witching Hour
I had this transit (Mercury trine Pluto) not too long ago (shoutout to the Pluto in Libra generation!), and it put me into full-on organizational mode—I felt super mentally powered up. Honestly, I wish I could have this transit forever. During that time, I moved my notes from Google Notes, which I initially liked, but they capped folders at 100. Now, for most people, that might sound like plenty, but when it comes to astrology, I have tons of subfolders—like one for Sun, and then 12 more for Sun in Aries, Sun in Taurus, and so on. I had to group all the Sun signs into one general category, which felt so wrong. I can’t stand seeing all the same Sun signs jumbled together in one long thread. It just feels… unsettling. An existential crisis in digital form! It’s a tragedy fit for the gods. Or at least for a very particular kind of Virgo-rising meltdown. What is astrology if not the art of divine filing—each planet, each sign, each transit neatly tucked into its proper place? To lump all the Sun signs into one amorphous mass? Barbaric! A crime against the very essence of Virgo categorizing! (Admittedly, some Virgos may think that over 100 folders is too much.)
Pluto’s gift was the fire of organization—proof that sometimes, a little destruction (in this case, of Google Notes’ pitiful folder system) is necessary for true transformation.
So, I stayed up until one in the morning (thanks, Mercury-Pluto) moving everything over to my Samsung Notes tablet. It has unlimited folders, making organization so much easier. Unlimited folders is the kind of limitless potential Pluto respects. Plus, adding notes and accessing files is way smoother. The best part? It shows how many files are in each category, which is helpful because I can keep track of topics and revisit them once they get big again.
The sweet, obsessive triumph of Mercury-Pluto at 1 AM! This is not purely organization; it’s transmutation—the alchemy of chaos into order, digital entropy bending to my indomitable will. Samsung Notes never knew it was about to be recruited for such a cause, but here we are: astrology neatly filed, categorized, and accounted for, as it should be.
Astrology Library
Then, I didn’t stop there. I moved all 170 of my astrology books into a small room I have downstairs—it’s more of a cloakroom, but I put a Kallax unit in there with doors. It’s perfect because I can store all my books, close the doors for privacy, and keep everything looking neat. Since I actually use and read them, they tend to get a bit disheveled, so this setup makes everything feel more organized.
It’s a ritualistic elevation of my organizational witchcraft. I’ve essentially created an archive, where the texts of the stars are kept safe, orderly, and accessible. Can you picture me dramatically swinging open the Kallax doors like some kind of witchy librarian, retrieving the exact book needed for an astrological revelation. A high priestess of planetary placements, if you will. We’re moving on to color-coded transits next. Then, digitally tracking secondary progressions.
Kindle Scribe
I sorted out my Kindle Scribe too—I accidentally sent files twice through Kindle Send, so I ended up with a bunch of duplicates, which was super annoying. That took a while to fix. But the latest Kindle Scribe update added this icon on the page for margin notes, and it can’t be moved or turned off. I just completed a Herculean task—organizing the vast universe of my astrology notes and books—only to be thwarted by the tiny tyranny of an immovable Kindle icon. A UI nightmare, an aesthetic crime, an intrusive little gremlin on the pristine surface of my reading experience.
You know when you tell your brain not to focus on something, but then that’s all you can see? Yeah, that’s me with this icon. I can’t even read on it until they remove it. I get distracted so easily by little things like that when I’m trying to focus on a book. It’s like seeing a single smudge on an otherwise spotless window—your mind becomes obsessed, unable to look away. This is the kind of thing that could make even the most serene, well-balanced individual spiral into a deeply specific kind of rage. I truly hope they remove this monstrosity in the next update because I deserve peace. I have done the work of organizing the universe—surely, I should be rewarded with an uninterrupted, distraction-free reading experience.
Transits to Pluto
Little transits to Pluto often come with a burst of productivity—you end up getting a lot done. It’s interesting because you’d expect this kind of discipline from Saturn, but Pluto is actually amazing for pushing through and making things happen. When directed the right way, it gives you this extra power to just do things. That’s exactly how my trine played out this time.
It’s not the organizational energy of Saturn, but a deep, almost compulsive drive to push through and manifest change. Pluto’s an invisible engine propelling us forward, and when we direct it toward productivity, we become unstoppable—like an alchemist turning chaos into order. I’ve channeled this power into all the organizational magic I’ve conjured.
New Tablet
I also got a massive tablet for reading my Google Books and taking notes—books everywhere—and it’s a lot better for PDFs. A lot of the really good psychology books I have are in PDF format, so now I can actually dive into them more easily. Plus, I’m planning to do my Astrodatabank research on there since it’s more comfortable, and I use my Samsung Notes to jot everything down and file it properly. I don’t think I’ve ever been this organized before!
The tablet has an e-paper style screen, so it has more of a matte effect, which I love. Pinterest looks amazing on it—something about the matte finish gives off nostalgic vibes. Maybe it’s the softness of the screen combined with the large display, but it just feels different in a really nice way. The digital world has been given a warm, vintage filter. It’s less harsh, more immersive, like slipping into a quiet little aesthetic bubble where ideas flow effortlessly.,
This has been the knowledge (Mercury) glow-up (Pluto) of the century. Pluto’s transit came, it said “transform your workflow”, and I actually did it.
Office Makeover
My office got a makeover too! I originally had wallpaper with a more bedroom-like vibe, but after a while, it became distracting. It’s funny how surroundings shape our mental energy—what once felt cozy can later feel stifling. So, I switched it up—now it’s all beiged out, the flooring is warmer, and I put up some simple flower drawings as decor. It’s much brighter, calmer, and way more relaxing to work in.
With my birthday coming up, I’m debating whether to invest in a faster and larger computer—if I do, my whole office setup will be complete. It would mean all my devices, tools, and software are finally aligned. I’ve got a lot of editing to do in the evenings, revamping my whole site and improving the quality of images.
It would mean a fully optimized digital ecosystem, where everything is smooth, efficient, and visually in sync, it might be a necessity at this point. The seamless synchronization of all my tools has been worthwhile. Future-me will look back on this period and say, “Thank you for investing in my peace.“
