The Less Evolved Astrology Signs

I find great pleasure in delving into Isabelle Pagen’s “Signs of the Zodiac Analyzed.” This book intriguingly explores both the evolved and primitive aspects of each zodiac sign. Throughout the next month, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the darker facets of our signs. Pagen’s insights can be further deepened by considering the ruling planets of each sign, enhancing our understanding of how these traits intensify under negative influences. This week, we’ll start with the water signs and continue exploring the other signs in the subsequent weeks. First published in 1911, this book might not be everyone’s contemporary choice, yet its perspectives remain fascinating.

In the book, the author explores the characteristics of Scorpio in its more primitive or less evolved state. “The primitive Scorpionian is not merely wicked; he is fiendish”…When he is bad he is thoroughly bad, and no mistake about it.”

Scoping out the bad side of Scorpio is easy, so I figured, why not check out Virgo too?

“His views are not merely limited, they are microscopic, and he is apt to make mountains out of molehills on every possible occasion. He is the kind of man who is capable of surveying some masterpiece of art in a stony silence that chills the blood of any real art lover in his company, and who before turning away, will point out mercilessly some trifling error in the darkest corner of the background, some tiny flaw in the construction of the frame.”

It seems the deeper we dive, the more eviler it gets. For some reason, we might really enjoy exploring the primitive signs as described by Isabelle Pagan. I’ll add my own two cents at the end of each section, keeping it light and fun – nothing too formal, just a casual take on it all.
